INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER

Alessando Marelli, born in Brianza (1975), a well known industrial wood district situated to the north of Milan. Has been a part of the project since the beginning, collaborating in the development of public and private furnishings with several companies and architectural firms, thus deepening his knowledge of wood and the subject of carpentry.

Experience

While studying at the Politecnico di Milano he had  the opportunity to meet Enzo Mari. After graduating in industrial design he worked for a short time with Prospero Rasulo.
Under the direction of Enzo Mari, he remained in his Studio as the only contributor for some years, assisting in the development of several projects, including the preparation of the exhibition "The Art of Design" held at the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Turin.

The Oled lamp Lanx in 2012 became part of the permanent collection of the Vitra Design Museum.
